Biodiversity and No-Deforestation Commitment

Concord Technology deeply recognizes that biodiversity and forest resources are key cornerstones for maintaining global ecological balance, mitigating climate change, safeguarding human well-being, and promoting sustainable industrial development.

Embodying our core philosophy of "Coexisting and Prospering with Nature," we are committed to asserting a positive influence across our operations and entire value chain. In partnership with our stakeholders, we strive to uphold the integrity of ecosystems in alignment with the spirit of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our Commitments

1. Ecological Avoidance and Mitigation

- Avoiding Sensitive Area Development: In site selection, priority is given to the protection of ecologically sensitive areas and habitats with high ecological value, and appropriate environmental protection measures are taken in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- Impact Mitigation Mechanism: Priority is given to taking protection measures that avoid and reduce impacts, lowering the influence of operations and engineering activities on the natural environment.

2. Green Operations and Procurement - Green Procurement: Supporting the principles of forest resource conservation and sustainable utilization, priority is given to environmentally friendly and source-traceable product packaging materials to avoid supporting illegal logging or damage to high conservation value forests; going forward, we will continue to pay attention to international initiatives and customer requirements and encourage supply chain participation.

- Green Engineering: Actively promoting waste reduction and resource recycling within the company and across the engineering service chain. Implementing water pollution prevention, construction noise, and light pollution control at engineering sites to ensure that the construction process reduces interference with surrounding ecosystems and wildlife habitats.

3. Sustainable Communication and Cooperation

- Promoting Internal Environmental Awareness: Continuously enhancing internal attention to natural conservation issues and deepening the environmental protection awareness of all employees.

- Transparent Communication: Upholding the principle of integrity, implementing ecological conservation and environmental management through institutionalized management and continuous improvement, enhancing the positive impact of the value chain, and sharing through public channels as appropriate.
